Weighbridge OperatorLocation: InvernessHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pmPay Rate: £14.12 per hourWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to provide short-term operational cover at a busy Waste Transfer Station.This is a desk-based operational role within an industrial environment and is ideally suited to candidates with strong IT skills, excellent numerical accuracy, and experience working within compliance-driven environments.Key Responsibilities Accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving siteEntering data precisely using dedicated weighbridge softwareProducing Waste Transfer Notes in line with current waste legislationManaging vehicle movements safely and efficientlyCommunicating effectively with drivers and site personnelFollowing all site health and safety proceduresEnsuring all records and documentation are completed accurately to maintain statutory complianceCandidate RequirementsApplicants must be able to demonstrate:Strong IT confidence and experience using computer-based systemsProven experience of accurate data entryExcellent numerical accuracy and attention to detailThe ability to follow written procedures and legislative requirements without supervisionAwareness of health & safety within an operational environmentDesirable ExperienceThe following experience would be advantageous:Previous weighbridge operation experienceExperience within waste management, recycling, logistics, or industrial operationsFamiliarity with Waste Transfer Notes or regulated environmental documentationFull training on the dedicated weighbridge software will be provided.Please note: this is not a general labouring role.
