The Apple Services Engineering (ASE) QA team is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to test features and services powering the App Store, Apple Music, TV+, and Podcasts. Join a dedicated team passionate about quality and customer experience, contributing to innovative products and services at Apple.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration and Communication: Clearly communicate testing progress, results, risks, and concerns to the team and management. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
2. Continuous Improvement and Quality Advocacy: Promote quality culture, contribute to QA process improvements, and research new testing tools and methodologies.
3. Understanding Requirements and Planning: Review product specifications, develop test strategies and plans, define test environments, and identify risks.
4. Test Case Design and Execution: Create and maintain effective test cases, verify software functionalities, and ensure code changes do not affect existing features.
5. Maintenance and Documentation: Keep test artifacts up-to-date and maintain comprehensive testing documentation.
Qualifications:
* In-depth professional software testing experience
* Experience developing test automation in Python, Java, or Swift
* Proven track record of delivering scalable test automation frameworks
* Experience developing test strategies, writing plans, and debugging
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in API services and device testing automation
* Self-motivated with leadership experience in QA projects
