The Vacancy
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a responsive maintenance contract within the social housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team working across a broad geographical patch, with flexibility to work between office and site.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the commercial management of responsive maintenance works across social housing properties.
2. Support cost control, valuations, and subcontractor payments.
3. Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and forecasts.
4. Liaise with site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
5. Contribute to the preparation of tenders and contract documentation.
✅ Requirements:
6. Previous experience in a social housing or maintenance environment preferred.
7. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
8. Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
9. Willingness to travel across the patch (Redditch to Milton Keynes).
10. Full UK Driving Licence.
