Mechanical Fitter (East Kilbride)
Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of a reputable Electrical, Mechanical & HVAC company based in East Kilbride. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team, working on a Scottish Power contract involving heavy pipework and filtration systems.
Position Details:
1. Location: East Kilbride
2. Hours: 40 per week
3. Pay: £19 per hour
4. Benefits: Company van, PPE provided
5. Overtime: Paid at time and a half
6. Contract: 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
Requirements:
7. CSCS Blue Card preferred, but Green Card holders will also gain site access
8. Experience in wastewater and clean water workstreams, with a valid Scottish Water DOMS or EUSR card
9. Experience in FMCG industries where effluent treatment is processed on-site before discharge to the network
10. Familiarity with process water plants, sedimentation systems, lamella filtration, and settlement ponds
