What will you be doing?
As an Associate Consultant in LCP’s Health Analytics team you will be involved in a diverse range of projects, covering both client and non-client work. Your key responsibilities will be to:
1. Demonstrate a very high level of expertise in epidemiology, statistics or health data science/programming
2. Contribute (aligned with your skills) to the design an execution of RWE studies including:Proposal developmentProtocol developmentSAP developmentProject managementProgramming (R/SQL/Python)Quality controlReport writing
What skills, qualities and experience must you have?
3. Demonstrable experience in a relevant role at a pharmaceutical company, CRO or consultancy, with a minimum 2:1 degree or better in a numerate or science subject, and a health-related Masters degree or PhD
4. An excellent grounding in relevant methods with demonstrated experience in conceptualising and delivering previous studies and projects
5. Excellent communication skills alongside good presentation skills and the ability to explain complex issues to others
6. Excellent report writing skills
7. Excellent Microsoft Office skills and be highly competent in the use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
8. If your specialist area is Data Science/Programming, you should be expert in R. SQL, Python and PySpark experience is desirable but not essential
9. Excellent organisational skills and able to coordinate the work of multi-disciplinary teams with ease. The role will require regular multi-tasking across client projects, project management of client engagements, and the mentoring and coordination of les experienced members of the team
10. The mindset to thrive in a growing and dynamic team, comfortable leading on day-to-day project activities
