The School and Role
We are seeking a patient and reliable 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil from 1:15pm to 3:15pm each day. The role involves providing in-class support for a pupil with emotional and behavioural needs, helping them access learning and regulate emotions. You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team, build a positive relationship, maintain clear boundaries, and provide consistent support to promote engagement and wellbeing.
Requirements
The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
