Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement professional to join the OCS Indirect Procurement Team. This is an exciting opportunity during a period of aggressive growth through organic expansion and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create a category strategy for long-term planning, negotiation, and compliance.
2. Identify risks and issues with current contracts and implement improvements.
3. Manage SLAs and KPIs with suppliers to enhance performance.
4. Engage with suppliers regularly to build strategic, value-adding relationships.
5. Manage end-to-end sourcing activities and support high-risk/value opportunities.
About You:
You should have a broad IT skills base, with experience in SaaS solutions, Networks, and Telecoms being advantageous.
Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
Responsible for advising on sourcing strategy and managing the strategic sourcing process.
Knowledge of supplier markets related to Technology to bring innovation and commercial advantages.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Results-driven with multitasking and prioritization abilities.
* Experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
* MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
