We have a team of Nurses and Healthcare Support Workers who visit patients in West Cornwall to enable them to be cared for in their preferred place of care.
These individualised packages of care are provided by our team, who exclusively work with people living with end-of-life conditions.

Marie Curie is recruiting Healthcare Support Workers for our West Cornwall Day Service Team. Current shifts are either AM 8-2 pm or PM 4-10 pm. Some staff combine shifts for longer days. Bank staff may choose only AM or PM shifts.

Salary:
Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2, £22,383 pro rata per annum, plus enhancements.

Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in a similar care role and a passion for end-of-life care
* Valid UK driving license and insured vehicle for business use
* Ability to work independently
* Empathy and understanding of patient needs
* Level 2 care qualification desirable but not essential; willingness to learn is required
Working independently, you will use your initiative according to the patient's care plan, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications, dressings, continence care, and maintaining detailed records. You will also support patients with hygiene and dietary needs.
