We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to join a leading-edge team working on next-generation electric vehicle (EV) systems. This role focuses on the development, integration, and validation of critical high-voltage components including inverters, DC/DC converters, charging systems, and onboard chargers—all in accordance with ISO 26262 functional safety standards.

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Support the development and integration of EV power electronic systems, including Traction inverters, DC/DC converters, Onboard charging systems, High-voltage charging modules.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, supporting functional safety requirements across system and component levels.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system architecture, interfacing, and control strategy development.
* Conduct and support DFMEA, system validation, and test planning activities.
* Liaise with hardware and software teams to ensure efficient system integration and resolve technical issues across vehicle platforms.
* Interface with external suppliers and support system reviews, calibration, and test rig activities.

Qualifications


Experience, skills and qualifications required:

* Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automotive, or Power Systems Engineering (or equivalent).
* Solid experience in power electronics development for automotive or transport applications.
* Working knowledge of inverters, DC/DC converters, and onboard charging systems.
* Proven familiarity with ISO 26262 and functional safety principles.
* Understanding of vehicle electrical architectures, high-voltage systems, and CAN/LIN communications.
* Experience working with supplier hardware, component testing, or HIL setups is a strong advantage
