We are seeking Graduate Fire Engineers to join our UK&I offices across the UK and Ireland. You will join a 1,500+ global team that advances the science of safety every day. You may indicate your preferred location during application; if you are open to more than one location, this will be identified during the recruitment process. You must have the right to work in the UK or Ireland to be considered.

Responsibilities

* Conduct fire engineering analysis for projects involving new and existing buildings.
* Work on diverse buildings (e.g., high-rise offices, large retail complexes, airports) to develop innovative fire engineering strategies.
* Analyse fire growth, means of escape, structural fire resistance and smoke control using methods including computer modelling (e.g., Computational Fluid Dynamics); prepare technical reports and liaise with clients.


Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed from day one, you should have the following:

* Right to work in the UK or Ireland.
* A Master’s degree (completed in the last two years or expected) in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical, or Physics.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.


Additional qualifications

* A team player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* A second European language is an advantage but not essential.
