Conference & Events Coordinator
Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Spa Liverpool
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Conference & Events Coordinator to join our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our historic city-centre hotel, delivering exceptional experiences for weddings, conferences, private functions, and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client enquiries from initial contact through to event delivery, ensuring a seamless experience.
* Prepare proposals, contracts, and function sheets in line with hotel standards.
* Conduct show-rounds for potential clients, showcasing our unique event spaces.
* Liaise with internal departments (F&B, kitchen, spa, reception) to ensure smooth coordination of all event details.
* Handle group bedroom reservations connected to events, including rooming lists and billing.
* Upsell additional services, such as AV, dining packages, spa experiences, and upgrades.
* Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments in line with company policy.
* Support the Sales & Marketing team with promotional campaigns and event showcases.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in conference and events, preferably in a 4* or 5* hotel.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong eye for detail.
* Confident in managing multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
* Strong sales ability, with a focus on delivering revenue targets.
* Professional, customer-focused, and able to build strong client relationships.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Opera/S&C or Delphi is an advantage.
