Vehicle Technician Required in Blaydon
Our client, a leading Commercial Vehicle specialist recognised across the UK, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team in Blaydon. * Work schedule: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) with one in four Saturday mornings
Duties:
* Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repair work on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
* Apply technical knowledge as a Vehicle Technician to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues effectively
* Adhere to manufacturer specifications and health and safety regulations
* Ensure customer vehicles are returned to the road promptly
* Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
* Use own tools for repairs (own set of tools required)
* MOT testing experience is desirable but not essential
Requirements of this Vehicle Technician role:
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
* Proven ability to work to a high standard as a Vehicle Technician with attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment
* Strong commitment to health and safety compliance
* Full UK driving licence
* MOT licence is desirable but not mandatory
* A proactive attitude with a desire to develop skills and knowledge
