Overview
Administration Assistant – Newark Motor Auction at Stoneacre Motor Group. We are recruiting an Administration Assistant at our Newark Motor Auctions site – one of the largest independent used car auctions in the UK. Our team has been helping customers buy and sell vehicles since 1971. We are looking to recruit an experienced administration assistant. The Admin team is a core part of the Auction business, made up of Payments and Admin support, responsible for delivering excellent customer service to buyers and vendors and ensuring all processes are completed to a high level within the required timeframe/SLA.
Responsibilities
* Ensure sales are delivered successfully and customer service levels are of high quality.
* Oversee a portfolio of key branch accounts, providing initial contact and administration support to the accounts as well as the branch.
* Ensure all administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner for the accounts, in line with business and customer requirements and SLAs to enhance and maintain customer experience.
* Contact key customers on sale days to enhance the customer experience.
* Handle general customer enquiries efficiently via face-to-face, telephone and email, achieving satisfactory outcomes or escalating where necessary.
* Booking in Auction lots and related paperwork.
* Taking payments from customers (cash and card) and related paperwork.
* Data input and keeping databases up to date prior to and after auction days.
* Undertake various ad hoc duties to assist on busy Auction days.
* Represent Stoneacre and Newark Motor Auctions to a high standard in all duties conducted.
Qualifications / About you
* The ideal candidate will be reliable and conscientious with administration experience.
* Experience of dealing with customers in person and over the phone.
* Strong attention to detail and a team player.
* Experience of working within rigid regulations and procedures.
* Excellence in customer service skills.
* Strong administration skills with a high level of IT skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
* Experience within the motor industry would be advantageous.
