About the company:

Cartrefi was established as a not-for-profit charity in 1989 by a group of parents and activists. We support people with learning disabilities in Wales. The company currently employs 1200 employees, 650 people we support and 1000s of friends, family and supporters. We are an innovative organisation that encourages the people we support, its employees and members of the community to be in control of one of Wales’ largest support providers. Job Responsibilities:

The Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the support service. Your focus will be on promoting independence for the people we support and enabling them in an innovative, person-centred and flexible way.

You will provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to give quality, person centred support. You will build positive relationships with all stakeholders and put our vision and values into action to deliver an excellent service.

Your skills and experience will include: ?

9. Excellent people skills

10. Be reliable and committed

11. Be able to communicate professionally and empathetically?

12. Be able to work under pressure

13. Be able to work well as a member of a growing team

14. Sleep ins, evening and weekend work may be required.

15. You will be required to be a car driver and prepared to travel across the region

16. Care management experience is essential

17. QCF level 3 and willing to work towards Level 5.
