Overview
The post aims to provide paid clinical experience for individuals who are looking to pursue a career as a Clinical Psychologist. You will be working in a well established psychological therapies team which is hugely valued by a wider integrated team including social workers, nurses and other allied health professionals.
Responsibilities
* You will have direct and indirect clinical experience working with service users, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
* Clinical work will include cognitive and other assessments specifically taking a lead role in the management of our well established dementia pathway.
* You will have the opportunity to develop and lead the delivery of workshops and groups for people with learning disabilities (and their carers).
* There will be an opportunity to take part in audit, evaluation and research opportunities and this will include maintaining databases for the psychological therapies team.
* We are excited to be able to offer a permanent full time Assistant Psychologist position.
