We are recruiting for a Milk Filling Operative
We are currently recruiting for a Milk Filling Operative within our Production department at our Müller Droitwich Dairy.
This role involves operating our manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality products. You will need a strong team working ethic, be results-driven, and proactive.
Contract: Full Time/Permanent
Salary: starting from £29,635 plus overtime premiums
Shift Pattern: 3 Rotational Shifts (days and nights, 6am – 3pm / 3pm – midnight)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Operate machinery and processes effectively to meet product output requirements.
* Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard procedures.
* System upkeep and related responsibilities.
* Perform cleaning activities.
* Conduct quality control inspections to ensure customer expectations are met.
* Replenish materials as required.
* Perform first-line maintenance checks.
Muller Responsibilities as a Production Operative:
* Actively participate in continuous business improvement.
* Work as part of small teams with operational excellence objectives.
* Contribute ideas to improve business processes.
* Understand the impact of actions on site/business objectives.
* Be aware of how current performance impacts the business.
* Ensure health and safety of self and others.
Skills, experience, and knowledge required:
* Previous manual packing experience is desirable but not necessary.
* Capability & accountability.
* A flexible approach to adapt to changing production plans.
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and prioritization skills.
* Effective team working skills.
