Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Pharmacist specializing in Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) to join our dynamic team in Peterborough. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary ranging from £50,952.00 to £57,349.00 per year.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert pharmaceutical care to patients undergoing SACT
* Ensure the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
* Support and educate patients and their families about their treatment plans
* Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
* Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or equivalent)
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Experience in oncology and the provision of SACT
* Strong clinical and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
