Electrical Engineer
Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineer (subject matter expert for electrical systems and equipment) to join their engineeringteam. The roleis based in the North East (Teesside) with travel to other sites.

Key Accountabilities
1. Provide technical support, leadership and guidance to projects, operations, andmaintenance.
2. Competency assessment of site electricians and contractors electricians.
3. Specification, budgeting and scheduling of electrical inspection and preventative maintenance, including HV / LV and ATEX routines to ensure reliable, safe and reliable operation.
4. Development of HV switching programs
5. Responsible for the application of appropriate electrical engineering codes and standards and management of any deviations from standards.
6. Prepare cost estimates and business case proposals for electrical equipment/system CAPEX.
7. Perform electrical calculations, prepare drawings and technical specifications.
8. Perform electrical network modelling using software tools (e.g. ETAP)
