The role
Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in IG6 that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Business to join their team from September 2026. We are looking for an individual with strong classroom and behaviour management skills who is passionate about business education and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Contract Details
· Location: IG6
· Position: Teacher of Business
· Start Date: September 2026
· Contract Type: Permanent
· Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (may vary depending on the school's needs)
· Pay: Pay to scale
· Schedule: Full-time
Experience, Training and Qualifications Required
· Experience teaching Business Studies within a secondary school environment
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
· Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
· Excellent subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
· Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5 (desirable)
· Reliable, punctual and committed to student progress and attainment
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
· Have the Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
· Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
