THE COMPANY
This forward-thinking events agency delivers a wide range of live, virtual and hybrid events for an impressive global client base. Their portfolio spans international residential and non-residential conferences, roadshows, product launches, exhibitions, incentives, hospitality programmes and senior-level business meetings, typically ranging from 20 to 2,000 delegates.
Working across sectors including technology and professional services, the agency prides itself on its collaborative, close-knit culture and exceptional client service. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Event Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality B2B events from concept through to completion.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly into the Head of Events, this is a hands-on role where the Senior Event Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities will include:
• Managing client relationships and taking detailed event briefs
• Contributing to proposals, costings and client presentations
• Creating and managing end-to-end delivery schedules
• Ensuring brand guidelines and service standards are met
• Conducting site visits and pre-event planning meetings
• Briefing internal creative and design teams
• Liaising with and negotiating with external suppliers, including production
• Managing and reconciling budgets
• Leading international onsite delivery and managing onsite teams
• Development of more junior members

THE CANDIDATE
The successful Senior Event Manager will have proven experience delivering events end to end within an agency environment and be confident managing multiple projects under pressure. You will be highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential, along with the flexibility to travel internationally when required.
