Job Description
Make the Most of Your Class 1 Licence - Join Our Team in Ilkeston Are you a reliable and dedicated Class 1 Driver looking for your next opportunity? We're looking for someone like you to join our busy team in Ilkeston, with immediate starts available. This role involves delivering palletised goods across the UK, with no handball required. You'll usually complete one drop and one collection per shift, making for a straightforward and efficient day. Some routes may take you further afield or lead into the next day's schedule, so you should be prepared to night out when needed. On average, this will be around three nights per week, and you'll be paid £30 per night out. If you're not already forklift trained, we'll provide full training, as you may occasionally be required to unload your vehicle once you're certified.

Hourly Rate: The rate of pay is £18.15 per hour paid via our Umbrella provider. or You can choose to get paid through PAYE, meaning the pay is £15.00 per hour and in addition to this, we offer full pay for 28 days of annual leave, which will make the hourly rate £16.81 per hour including your holiday accrual. They pay per night out is £30 per night. Please note we do not offer visa sponsorships.
Working Hours: This position is Monday to Friday starting at varied times based on your run but will generally be at 07:30 with shifts lasting between 8-10 hours, you will always be paid for 8 hours work minimum even if you have done under that amount. Please note there may be 3 to 4 nights out for this role per week.

Experience & Qualifications
To be suitable for this role, you'll need: • A minimum of 3 years of Class 1 (HGV) driving experience • A valid Class 1 (HGV) Driving Licence • A valid Digital Tachograph Card • A valid UK CPC qualification • A Forklift licence is preferred but not essential - full training will be provided if needed
