About the employer
Our client is a 25-year-old male living with his parents in Chaddesley Corbett, Kidderminster, and is looking to recruit a Self-Employed Personal Assistant to provide support for 4 hours per week with teaching and promoting his independence & life skills.
* Teaching client independence skills such as cooking, laundry, hoovering & dusting etc.

* Values: We are looking for someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, able to build good relationships based on trust and respect, that can be firm but fair, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, understands equality and diversity and has a good sense of humour.
* Specific requirements: Someone with previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities.
Hours of work: 4 hours per week
Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour

* Previous support worker experience
* Confidentiality
* Good at building relationships
* Likes dogs as there are two in the property
* Ability to support people with complex support needs.
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
