Basic Salary £28K-£30K dependant on experience with benefits 20 day for the first 3 years and it increases one day per year of service until 25 days, plus bank holidays. We close between Xmas and New Year (so that’s extra holiday-3 days) company pension. Office is closed on Fridays – people work from home Permanent, Full Time
Our client a highly established and reputable membership body in the professional services sector – law and accountancy are looking for a Membership Administrator
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager on a day-to-day basis, to support the smooth running of the membership body office (the centre). 7 x staff.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS
Work with the Office Administrator to organise and administer the Annual conference.
Organise events including Leaders Forum and QAS workshop.
Develop and coordinate all surveys including the annual benchmarking survey, membership (satisfaction) survey and others as directed by CEO and Operations Manager
Administer the Marketing taskforce and associated collateral.
Maintain and develop the database.
Produce Management Information (MI) reports for the Board and MSC meetings, QAS as required.
Maintain the website and contribute to new developments including, for example, projects to enhance members’ user experiences.
Coordinate and administer activities to notify members of any changes to membership fees including annual renewal notifications.
Proactively contribute to wider projects including the bi-weekly eNews.
Updating Knowledge Hub with latest materials.
Book venues for our events as required.
Support Senior Administrator with the accounts/invoicing using Sage.
Administer and organise QAS and Compliance Committee meetings, events, and administration including invoicing and data reporting.
Assist with preparation of new member welcome membership packs.
Process member enquiries and upload responses to the website and follow up if no responses received.
Support colleagues at the Centre as required and undertake any additional tasks as required.
Provide administration support including answering the telephone and proofreading documents.
Responsible for the Centre’s health and safety and data protection ensuring that procedures and policies are up to date and compliant with regulations and law.
Undertake any other reasonable requests from the CEO and Operations Manager.
Assist with membership enquiries including the member enquiry scheme.
Administer and support the Business Partners.
Assist with the Membership Services Committee as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Experience of working in a customer focused, results driven environment
The ability to build rapport and work effectively with members across the Group
Ability to work as a part of a team and as an individual, and take direction
Experience of administering surveys and conducting data analysis
Liaise with Operations Manager regarding supplier and third party contracts
Confidence to follow up leads using appropriate communications methods e.g. phone or e-mail
Strong office administration skills, including experience with databases, content management systems, website development, MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to write clearly and in plain English and with an accessible style
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to proofread materials and check own work for accuracy
Proven organisational and effective time management skills
Enthusiastic, professional with an ‘outgoing and can-do’ attitude
Willingness to pitch in and help colleagues when needed
