We're looking for a talented and experienced person to join our team in Guildford and make a positive impact within our growing business. The role involves managing the design process from pre-construction through to and including the construction phase for projects up to £12m.
Responsibilities:
* Plan all aspects of the project, identify challenges, and propose imaginative and cost-effective solutions.
* Ensure compliance with current legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
* Eliminate health, safety, and financial risks during construction.
* Maintain a steady flow of quality information to ensure the project stays on schedule.
* Build strong relationships with all stakeholders through open and clear communication.
Qualifications:
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Understanding of various procurement methods, including frameworks, negotiated, and two-stage tenders.
Experience:
* Knowledge of traditional construction and Design & Build (D&B).
* Thorough understanding of CDM regulations.
* Experience with software such as BIM and 4Projects.
