Complex Needs Support Worker Location: Easingwold, North Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP Salary: £90 – £110 per day GSL Education are seeking a Complex Needs Support Worker to work at a Client Secondary school for students with additional needs in Easingwold, starting as soon as possible. Complex Needs Support Worker Responsibilities: Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties. Assist in implementing individual behaviour support plans and de-escalation strategies. Provide in-class support to help students access learning and develop positive routines. Deliver focused intervention. Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Build trusting, consistent relationships with students. Complex Needs Support Worker Requirements: Experience working with young people with complex challenges. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviour. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Training in Team Teach or similar behaviour support strategies is advantageous. Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
