Purpose Statement:
Here at Plexus, we have an exciting new role for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our global Cybersecurity and IT team. The role involves reducing cybersecurity risks through controls, concepts, and best practices, collaborating with global teams to enable strategic business objectives, and developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Cybersecurity team’s technology stack.
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will ensure our organization’s compliance with cybersecurity regulations. As a UK regulatory cybersecurity expert, the analyst will partner with various departments to identify and manage security risks, develop security policies, and maintain a strong security posture.
Key Job Accountabilities:
* Partner with global teams to enhance business processes, ensuring IT controls, compliance, and regulatory standards are met.
* Serve as a liaison during audits and control assessments.
* Lead incident response efforts, monitor security events, and respond to incidents with recommendations for remediation.
* Use threat intelligence to identify malicious indicators and implement detection logic.
* Conduct cybersecurity assessments to identify gaps.
* Configure cybersecurity tools across systems and hardware, conduct security reviews of new technology, and communicate security requirements.
* Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, frameworks, regulations, and emerging threats.
Skills & Experience required:
* Practical experience in cybersecurity activities, from armed forces or private sector.
* Deep knowledge of UK cybersecurity regulations and controls.
* Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and certifications like Cybersecurity Essentials +.
* Experience with attack activities, threat vectors, and frameworks like Cyber Kill Chain or ATT&CK.
* Experience configuring or running automation tools like SOAR.
* Knowledge of system security architecture and solutions.
* Hands-on experience with security solutions.
* Certifications like CISSP, GIAC, CIMP, CEH, Security+ are preferred but not required.
