FM Conway is seeking for a Skilled Civils Operative to join our Water and Drainage Division. As our Skilled Civils Operative, you will carry out a variety of construction activities on minor drainage civils jobs. This is a full-time permanent position, based from our depot in Hickstead, West Sussex
The duties of the Skilled Civils Operative role will include:
- Undertaking ironworks unjamming and replacement
- Undertaking grip cutting and leaf clearance from gully tops
- Undertaking activities such as, kerb laying, pipe laying, shuttering, concreting and slab laying
- Carrying out all works with care and with attention to safety, using the appropriate tools, safeguards and PPE
What we’re looking for in our Skilled Civils Operative
To be considered for this role you must hold a valid CSCS card. Ideally you will have previously worked within a similar role. In addition, it is essential that you have a street works card and a full UK driving licence.
