Production Planner
Location: Corby. Salary: £36,000 to £38,000 per annum, including a daily overtime allowance. Leave: 33 days. Working hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Office based with pension and parking.
Overview
Due to continued success and growth, our client is creating a brand‑new Production Planner position within their busy FMCG manufacturing operation. We’re looking for an experienced Production Planner who is excited by the challenge of shaping processes, driving efficiency, and setting the standard for best‑in‑class planning.
Responsibilities
* Establish and own the full production planning function.
* Develop planning processes, schedules, and systems from scratch.
* Work closely with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to optimise work flow.
* Ensure production plans meet customer demand, stock targets, and operational capability.
* Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Working knowledge of effective internal and external planning processes.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, mainly Excel.
* Strong analytical, influence, communication, collaboration skills.
* Adaptable with a positive mindset to problem solving.
* Experience within production planning, manufacturing planning or a similar planning role.
