Recruitment Business Partner at Mount Anvil
Project Support Controller role at Mount Anvil
Role
We’re looking for a super organised Project Support Controller to join us on two schemes in Royal Docks and Canary Wharf. Someone who has worked as a Document Controller with site admin experience for at least two years and is familiar with document management systems (Asite) could thrive here. We’re a high-performance culture. In this role, you’ll manage and review all project design documents to keep quality high. You’ll be the go-to person for all Asite-related activities, delivering Asite training to new users (staff and contractors) as well as managing, uploading, and tracking company documents and reporting on progress. You’ll be very hands-on and able to juggle multiple tasks.
You’ll also manage the site’s administration, such as processing and receiving site orders, preparing and submitting expenses, and other ad-hoc tasks as needed. The role is split 80% document control and 20% site admin. You don’t need any particular qualifications, but good IT and organisational skills are a must. To be a great collaborator within the Technical team you’ll be a confident communicator, willing to pick up the phone, ask questions and get curious.
This is a culture where feedback flows both ways from day one. We want to be challenged by you too—hierarchy is low and “my way or the highway” doesn’t fly here. This role is 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, based at our Royal Eden Docks project with 1 day a week at our project in Canary Wharf. Ready to make an impact? Apply today!
Mount Anvil – About the company
What we do: We’ve worked in partnership for 31 years to create outstanding places in London. We’re growing with our construction turnover doubling and a pipeline of new projects where we’re ready to get started and make a difference.
Why we’re here: We pursue better, differently.
Better: One of The Sunday Times’ “100 Best Small Companies to Work For” for over a decade, winner of multiple Pride In The Job and WhatHouse awards for our people and the quality of our homes, and proud to have the nation’s best site in our ranks (winning the highest marks across the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s five areas — the CCS).
Differently: Our culture is unusual. More transparent with information. More direct with feedback that helps us all grow. More rigorous about setting goals, then giving more freedom to achieve them. It’s not for everyone. We hire “learn-it-alls”. Our CEO says: “We work hard to find people who thrive on context and responsibility, rather than rules and procedures. We then work like owner managers, not a leader and a load of helpers.”
Private medical insurance for you and your family through Vitality (including discounts on spa breaks, cinema tickets and your food shopping, free Starbucks, 50% off Virgin Active Membership and more).
Income Protection Insurance to help you cope financially if you’re unable to work due to illness or injury, Life Assurance equivalent to four times your salary, annual leave & Bank Holidays, enhanced maternity and paternity leave and nursery salary sacrifice, allowing you to save tax and NI on monthly nursery fees.
We think the best benefit of being here is the learning culture and the ability to make a real difference—we dislike hierarchy and politics, and “not my job” isn’t in our vernacular. If you care about raising the bar and feeling connected to the end product, this could be the place for you to grow your career.
