Join the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within Barclays as a Governance & Control Analyst, where you will play a key role in supporting the Global Head of IAM Governance & Regulatory Engagement with the Operational Risk & Controls Strategy execution and its ongoing effectiveness across IAM, CISO, and Barclays. You will be responsible for continuously improving the IAM Control Suite and instigating transformational change where appropriate to deliver this. The role involves overseeing, propelling, and assuring consistent compliance with the IAM Standards, Procedures, and Practices adopted by the global organization, ensuring sound governance practices that satisfy regulatory requirements and firm-wide obligations, and driving the Security-First Mindset across the group.
To succeed as an IAM Governance & Control Analyst, you should have:
* Distinct knowledge of the IAM space and its Control Suite
* Strong Audit Engagement, Controls Testing, and Issue Management skills
* Solid command of the Operation Risk and Controls (ORAC) system
* Experience managing senior stakeholders and global teams across multiple geographies

Purpose of the role
To support the Chief Risk Officer(s) in implementing and maintaining the bank's risk management framework across various business units and functions.
Accountabilities
* Implementing risk management policies, standards, procedures, and controls across the bank
* Promoting risk management awareness, controls, and culture
* Reviewing and monitoring the effectiveness of current risk practices and identifying improvements
* Identifying new and emerging risks, assessing their impact, and recommending mitigation strategies
* Managing associated committees, forums, and meetings
* Maintaining risk inventories and governance documentation
