We’re currently recruiting for a Support Driver to join our team working within the water industry. This is a hands-on, physical role that involves driving a long wheelbase van with a tail lift to support field teams in the Bristol area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a long wheelbase van (with tail lift) safely and responsibly.
* Transport materials, tools, and traffic management equipment (e.g., cones, signs, barriers).
* Ensure all equipment and materials are safely transported.
* Follow scheduled routes and report to the site supervisor.
* Deliver ad-hoc supplies to field teams across various locations.
* Ensure safe loading/unloading and basic vehicle checks.
* Provide general on-site support where required.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* Streetworks certification.
* Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
* Experience driving long wheelbase vans preferred.
* Good awareness of on-site safety and working outdoors.
* Traffic management experience or understanding (desirable but not essential).
