Job Details
Salary: NJC Grade 4, point 5-6, £25,583 - £25,989 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 13 hours a week across two working days
Working pattern:
* Week A: Monday and Thursday
* Week B: Thursday and Friday
Location: Ferring CE primary
Interviews: Thursday 23rd October 9:30am - 12:30pm
What You Need to Succeed
Applications are invited from experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible teaching assistants for this position. The post holder will be required to carry out a variety of duties, and we are looking for someone who:-
* Work under the direction of the class teacher to support individuals and groups of pupils.
* Assist in the delivery of a differentiated curriculum, supporting children with a range of learning needs
* Has a patient and encouraging approach
* Has a passion for supporting teaching and learning
* Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour
* Is enthusiastic with a caring attitude
* Is keen to work as part of a team, is very flexible and has experience of working with children in early years
* Is prepared to attend to pupils' personal needs including First Aid matters and intimate care
* Is discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
* Is prepared to carry out lunchtime supervision when children play and eat their lunch
* Is prepared to support children with Special Educational Needs in small groups and /or in 1:1 situation
* Undertake duties in line with the school's policies on safeguarding, inclusion and equal opportunities.
