The Role – What You’ll Do
• Deliver stimulating Mathematics lessons across KS4–KS5.
• Teach core areas including algebra, mechanics, statistics, and problem-solving.
• Use AFL, data, and personalised feedback to embed long-term mastery.
• Support enrichment including Maths Olympiads, UKMT, and Further Maths clubs.
• Contribute to schemes of work, digital teaching resources, and exam preparation.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, progress, and ambition.
• Participate in wider school responsibilities and pastoral care.
Person Specification
Essential
• Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• QTS/PGCE.
• Strong KS4–KS5 curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
Desirable
• Edexcel experience.
• Experience running STEM or problem-solving enrichment.
• Ability to support university applications for Maths-heavy degrees.
