Job Summary: Reporting directly to the CFO with dotted line responsibility to the MD of the UK Region, the candidate will be working in a dynamic environment rich in operational complexity. We are seeking to find a Controller who is self-directed and experienced in order to oversee all financial, business and accounting as well as to contribute to the company's progress. The candidate must possess a clear understanding of public company reporting requirements, have managed staff and demonstrate strong attention to detail. The incumbent must be comfortable working with various departments in the company and getting involved in multiple projects. In addition to strong leadership and management skills, the incumbent must show entrepreneurial spirit, possess strong organizational and documentation skills, strong teamwork skills and can work independently with internal and external professionals at all levels. And develop a team for succession planning The UK plants are the Center of Excellence for the manufacturing of small to medium landing gear and the related components. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of Month End close as well as monthly and quarterly financial reports, memos, checklists and the preparation of General Ledger Account Reconciliations Provide financial insight to all management & support all functional areas; Liaison for completion of annual financial audits Lead annual physical and support materials manager with regular cycle counts; Strong knowledge and understanding of FP&A and Customer pricing for bids Other analysis and projects as required; Lead and develop its team at multiple sites to make it fully united and efficient. Skills & Qualifications: The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and hold a CIMA or ACCA designation Minimum 10 years (post designation) working experience either in an accounting firm or industry Ability to demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit Strong analytical skills Detail-oriented individual who possesses a high level of integrity A “team player” mentality with a flexible and collaborative approach to completing tasks Organized and strong multi-tasking skills Strong management and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in developing relationships Enthusiastic, hardworking and has demonstrated initiative and motivation in taking charge of their responsibilities Problem solver with sound judgment, who takes initiative, accepts ownership and accountability Open for traveling occasionally Open for relocation is a plus What we offer?
