As part of both the UKI and HGM (High Growth Markets) finance teams—covering the Nordics, Central, Mediterranean, and Eastern Europe—this role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad insight and experience. You'll work with both our largest, most established European market and newer markets where we’ve recently expanded our product offerings.
A Taste of What You'll be Doing
* Financial Outlook - Lead the European month-end process and financial outlook submissions, ensuring timeliness and accuracy for Senior EU Leadership and Corporate. Provide UKI and HGM lead teams with variance analysis of actual results, budgets, and forecasts through close collaboration with UKI and HGM Finance teams.
* Budget Insight - Work closely with UKI and HGM Finance teams to consolidate and analyse country financials during budgeting and planning.
* Support the UKI and HGM Senior Finance Director in reviewing key metrics, identifying risks and opportunities, and tracking performance trends that drive business decisions.
* Process Improvement - Champion efficiency and optimization through continuous improvement in finance processes. Collaborate across finance and the broader GBS team to drive value and operational excellence.
We’re Looking for Someone With
* Educated to degree level, Finance/Accounting qualification, and significant work experience.
* Thorough knowledge of financial processes, including planning and analysis. Sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Strong understanding of P&L.
* Working knowledge of US GAAP, local statutory, and Sarbanes-Oxley S404.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Access, and advanced Excel skills, as well as proficiency with ERP and other financial planning systems (e.g., SAP, BPC, Anaplan).
