We’re currently recruiting for Qualified Secondary Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join welcoming and inclusive Secondary Schools across Bolton on both long-term and short-term basis roles, with ASAP and September start dates available.
We are looking for passionate and motivated teachers across all subject specialisms who are committed to inspiring young people and helping them achieve their full potential. As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting students of varying abilities and creating a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, challenged and supported to succeed.

Job description:
1. Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons across your subject specialism
2. Planning and preparing lessons in line with the national curriculum
3. Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
4. Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress
5. Encouraging student participation, confidence and academic achievement
6. Supporting students with varying learning abilities and additional needs where required
7. Building positive and professional relationships with students, staff and parents/carers
8. Contributing to the wider school community and promoting an inclusive learning environment
9. Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
You should have:
10. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be currently completing teacher training as an ECT
11. Experience teaching within secondary school settings
12. Strong subject knowledge within your specialist area
13. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
14. A genuine passion for education and supporting young people to succeed
15. The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
16. A flexible, proactive and positive approach to teaching
17. An understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
18. A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
