Job Description
3. Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring all payments are made on time.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
5. Maintain organised and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
6. Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
7. Communicate effectively with suppliers to address queries and issues.
8. Support the accounting & finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
9. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
10. Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Accounts Payable clerk should have:
11. Experience in accounts payable or a similar role within accounting & finance.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
14. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
15. Good communication and problem-solving skills.
16. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
