Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer (Multiskilled)
Location: Southampton and Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to GBP44,000 per annum + Overtime and On-Call Allowance
We are seeking a proactive and professional multiskilled engineer to join our team, covering commercial sites across Southampton and the surrounding region. As a mobile engineer, your primary responsibility will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning systems. You’ll be the face of our company on client sites, delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities
* Servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of AC systems, including Splits, VRVs, VRFs, AHUs and FCUs.
* Performing general building services maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical tasks, and fabric repairs.
* Working independently to manage your daily workload efficiently.
* Participating in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support.
The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified engineer with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Essential Requirements
* F:Gas Category 1 Qualification.
* Proven experience in a similar commercial AC maintenance role.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
* 18th Edition electrical qualification.
* Experience in other building maintenance trades.
