We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our vibrant practice as a GP Partner. This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of a progressive and patient-focused medical practice, with shared responsibility for the management and development of the practice alongside clinical duties. The Practice has 6 Partners, 3 Salaried GPs, a Nurse Team and a multi-skilled Administration Team. It is part of the Cambridge City PCN with allied professionals providing services such as Pharmacist, MSK, Midwifery & Mental Health. The working culture aims to meet the needs of all patients in a caring, timely and appropriate manner with high patient satisfaction scores. Great value is placed on a good work life balance in a supportive and friendly environment with a manageable workload and strong team. The Practice is just off the City centre in a purpose-built building with a dedicated Staff Car Park and a patient list size of 11,100. We are a Training Practice with teaching and coaching at all levels, from Students to GP Trainee Registrars. York Street is also research-active. There is a daily coffee meeting and a timetable of regular educational meetings. Work life balance is in our DNA.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our vibrant practice as a GP Partner. This role offers the opportunity to become a key part of a progressive and patient-focused medical practice, with shared responsibility for the management and development of the practice alongside clinical duties.
Key Responsibilities
 * Provide a quality, patient-centred primary care service in accordance with current clinical guidelines and best practice.
 * Manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions.
 * Participate actively in the management and strategic development of the practice.
 * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and support staff to deliver integrated care.
 * Contribute to the practice clinical governance and quality assurance processes.
 * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including CQC standards.
 * Teach and mentor junior clinical staff, trainees and students when applicable.
 * Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) and maintain up-to-date clinical skills.
 * Participate in Duty Doctor duties as agreed.
 * Cultivate positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and the local community.
 * Undertake to be qualified and deliver training for GP Trainees and Students.
Leadership
 * Contribute to a Participative Management Style.
 * Manage resources to service the targets as effectively as practicable.
 * Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities, making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team\'s performance. This is clinical and Business Development.
 * Effectively manage own time, workload and resources available.
 * Lead on Clinical and Business meetings as required.
Person specifications
Qualifications Essential
 * Fully qualified and registered General Practitioner with the GMC
 * On current Performers List Primary Medical Services Performer List Regulations
 * Eligibility to work in the UK
 * Full & clear DBS Disclosure
 * Up to date BLS/CPR
 * Up to date Safeguarding Level 3
Desirable
 * Higher Post Graduate membership. MRCGP.
 * Specialist trained interest
 * Qualified or prepared to qualify as a Trainer
Experience Essential
 * Demonstrable experience in primary care.
 * Understanding of business and financial aspects of general practice
 * Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
 * Evidence of Teaching/Training
 * Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable
 * Previous partnership or leadership experience.
 * Evidence of continuing professional development over and above appraisal requirements
