We would like to recruit a Health Care Assistant with experience working in primary care to work within our practice based in Blundellsands. The role is part time, up to 30 hours per week over 3 or 4 days. The post has become available due to the partial retirement of our current HCA who will remain working within our team.
We are an experienced, cohesive nursing team that supports development within roles. We have regular nurse meetings and wider practice meetings, and the team is led by a Lead Nurse.
Job responsibilities
* Assist GPs and practice nurse team in the delivery of care for the practice population
* Support long‑term condition management and general clinic duties
* Deliver immunisations under national guidelines and practice policy
* Order stock, keep clinical rooms fully equipped and check emergency equipment
* Maintain vaccine stock and fridge temperature
