Accounts Payable Assistant - 6 month FTC

Hybrid Working (3 days pw office / 2 wfh)

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices
* Scanning of invoices into SAP
* Resolving discrepancies with stores, buyers and suppliers promptly
* Allocation of payments and credit notes appropriately
* Monthly supplier account reconciliations ensuring all ledgers are accurately reflecting the costs of the business
* Filing all paperwork adequately and timely
* Preparation of fortnightly payment runs and ad-hoc payments

* Speed and accuracy are very important as dealing with multiple accounts/clients to strict deadlines
* Ability to process large volumes of purchase invoices
Qualifications, Competence Level, Experience required:
* Experience using SAP desirable but other ERP systems will be considered
* Relevant experience in accounts payable desirable, dealing with large volume of complex invoices, multi-currency invoices
* Work autonomously on processing invoices
* Experience of working in a high paced environment (e.g. retail/consumer goods)
