We are seeking
an energetic and organised Event Assistant to support the delivery of a busy programme of commercial, internal and public engagement events within this unique venue. You will support the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of daytime and evening events, including venue hire, conferences, weddings, ceremonies and public engagement activities. You will act as a first point of contact for event enquiries, support client visits, prepare event documentation, assist with event administration and provide on-site operational support during events. Working closely with the Events Manager and colleagues across the Museum and wider University, you will help ensure events are delivered safely, professionally and to a high standard, while protecting the Museum’s collections and historic spaces. This is a full-time post, working 36.5 hours per week. The role is primarily on site and requires flexibility, including regular evening and occasional weekend working, depending on event schedules. 0.8 FTE will be considered.
