The schools generally require day-to-day sickness cover, part-time cover (half-days or 3 days per week), and long-term cover to recruit for permanent/temporary vacancies. There is generally a high demand for teaching assistants who can work on a long-term basis in primary schools in Formby. About the role: As a primary teaching assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to children with additional needs; small group interventions; and general classroom support.
