We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to oversee our prescription team, ensuring the safe and effective management of medications across the practice. This role will involve working closely with patients, either by phone or face-to-face, to discuss all aspects of their medications, as well as advising on minor illnesses where appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, as well as alongside GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal medication management for our patients.

Main duties of the job
* Medication Management:Oversee the prescription team and review prescriptions for safety, appropriateness, and compliance with clinical guidelines.

* Patient Education:Provide patients with information about their medication, including potential side effects, proper usage, and any necessary lifestyle modifications.
* Audit and Compliance:Participate in regular audits and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with best practices and NHS standards.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council GPhC .
* Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience in primary care preferred.
* Experience working in a GP practice or primary care setting desirable but not essential.
