The RoleThe organisation is seeking a skilled Second Line Engineer to join its dynamic team. This role involves providing advanced technical support, resolvingplex issues escalated from first-line support, and ensuring smooth operation of critical IT systems. The successful candidate will play a key part in maintaining service excellence and supporting a wide range of technologies.
What You Need to Succeed
1. Technical Expertise:Strong experience with Microsoft Service Provider (MSP) environments.Proficiency in ticket management tools for efficient issue tracking and resolution.Exposure to Microsoft 365 Exchange administration and troubleshooting.Hands-on experience with VMware virtualisation technologies.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
2. Skills & Attributes:Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Strongmunication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
3. Qualifications:Relevant IT certifications (, Microsoft, VMware, Azure) are desirable but not essential.Previous experience in a second-line support role within an MSP environment.
