Responsibilities:
- To be confident in diagnosing faults, either mechanically or electronically.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues or safety concerns
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working on vehicles
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge and a understanding of vehicles
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance
- Previous experience in vehicle maintenance or automotive repair is required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, but to also work well in a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- MOT testing licence preferred, but not essential, as training can be given
