Job Title: Senior Sales Development Representative Location: Sunderland (Hybrid) Package: £33,000 - £35,000 Basic + £15,000 OTE

Our client is a forward-thinking SaaS company dedicated to solving safety-critical training gaps within highly regulated industries. Their mission is ambitious: to help reskill 50% of the Global Workforce by 2030 through a unified workforce intelligence ecosystem.

The Opportunity:

They are looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative to join them during an exciting phase of growth. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on sales and leadership, giving you the opportunity to mentor junior team members while driving new business opportunities.

The opportunity:

* Lucrative Package: A strong basic salary of up to £35k with a realistic OTE of £50k.
* Leadership Exposure: You won't just be selling; you will hold one-on-ones with junior SDRs, reviewing calls and coaching them on sales skills.

In this role you will:

* Generate Leads: Actively research and identify potential clients fitting the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), focusing on labour-intensive, regulated sectors.
* Drive Outreach: Conduct personalised multi-channel outreach (phone, email, social media) to capture interest in automating training compliance.
* Qualify & Convert: Perform discovery calls to understand prospect challenges and book qualified meetings for senior Business Development Managers.
* Lead the Team: Mentor junior SDRs, track team metrics, and foster a motivated culture to prevent burnout and drive performance.
* Manage Data: Meticulously track sales activities and prospect info in the CRM.

Requirements:

* 1-2 years of experience as an SDR, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment (HR/LMS knowledge is a bonus).
* Exceptional ability to articulate the value of complex software solutions.
* A resilience to hit targets and a problem-solving mindset to uncover compliance challenges.
* A desire to manage and develop a team, with excellent planning and organisational skills.
