ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an individual perform the following:
1. Prepare and maintain budgets, liaise with consultants, and attend design meetings.
2. Collaborate with project managers to evaluate designs, issue tender documents, and review contractor bids.
3. Negotiate contracts, manage valuations and variations, and mitigate commercial risks.
4. Process orders and payments, review certifications, and monitor contractor performance.
5. Ensure compliance with quality, specifications, and regulations.
6. Complete monthly CVRs, identify cost risks/opportunities, and stay updated on relevant legislation.
7. Participate in meetings, input data into systems, and visit sites regularly.
REQUIREMENTS
8. Degree (preferred)
9. Experience in a similar role within the construction industry
10. CSCS card (or equivalent) desirable
11. Strong interest in construction and commitment to inclusion and diversity
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
13. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
14. IT literate, adaptable to new systems (COINS preferred)
15. Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and Health and Safety requirements
16. Experience in high-rise construction and cladding remediation
17. Industry-related business qualification
18. Client management experience (internal and external.

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £60k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
