This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Site Assistant* supporting Greenshaw Learning Trust school sites and associated site staff in a range of duties to ensure the smooth operation of the schools. (*We're aware that this role may be called other things in other organisations, such as Facilities or Maintenance Assistant or Caretaker.)
This role is permanent and based at Hunts Grove Primary School, Hardwicke, Gloucester.
Hunts Grove Primary is a two form entry Primary school with its own Pre-school, catering for children aged 3-11. At Hunts Grove Primary, we have high expectations, and the needs of our pupils are at the heart of all we do. Our aim is to provide a caring and safe environment for our children to become confident, caring, resilient and curious; we encourage them to achieve the very best that they can across every area of the curriculum.
You might, on occasion, be required to work at or travel to other local GLT schools as required. Mileage will be paid for any travel between schools.
You will need:
* Knowledge and experience in premises management
* Working knowledge of Health, Safety and Site policy
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK valid driving licence and use of suitable vehicle for travelling between multiple sites within the hub
* NVQ 2 OR equivalent qualification desirable
* Some experience of using computers
