Position: Process Reliability Engineer - Sussex
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on experience
Location: This role will involve 2/3 days WFH and 2/3 days travelling to different Sussex sites or at an office in the Sussex area.
We are recruiting a Process Reliability Engineer based in Sussex. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to maintain assets to high standards, aiming to increase reliability and minimize downtime.
The role focuses on expanding the team to deliver strategies within Wastewater, shifting from reactive to planned maintenance, and establishing a reliability-centered maintenance approach during our AMP 8 investment period.
You will design and implement RCM strategies to ensure cost-effective, reliable, and compliant asset maintenance. Regular monitoring of maintenance strategies, asset performance review, surveillance, and KPI trending will be essential to improve asset uptime and efficiency.
The role involves conducting reliability studies such as FMECA and RCA assessments, applying industry standards, and maintaining detailed documentation of strategies, procedures, failure analyses, and best practices.
To succeed, you should have:
* Thorough knowledge of wastewater operational equipment and processes
* Knowledge of FMECA, RCA, Reliability Block Diagrams (not essential)
* Experience in analysing, operating, and maintaining assets
* Ability to prioritise, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines
* Effective cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Flexible approach with an engaging personal style
* Strong logical and analytical skills, along with excellent planning skills
* Process Engineering degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
